LSCB – Introduction to CAMHS & Wellbeing

This session will provide insight into the way in which CAMHS and the Wellbeing Service can support young people and help through the transition into adult services provision. It will consider how the period of transition can  be traumatic and disconcerting for the young person and how as professionals we can assist and reduce the stress and potential risks.

Target Audience

All safeguarding professionals who are working with children, young people and their families, in particular those working with adolescents and those going through the transition to adult service provision.

Learning Outcomes

To provide oversight of the service provided by CAMHS
To gain awareness of the Wellbeing Services
To understand how young people can be supported by these services during their transition into Adult Service provision
