LSCB- Professional difference and challenge

This event will be an interactive session looking at the roles of professionals and how they can challenge colleagues in safeguarding decisions, both in a professional and appropriate manner. The training will look at case studies to encourage group discussion, and provide insight into how the multi agency approach can differ from each agencies perspective. It will provide information around the escalation process that is available locally, and on how staff should follow this process if they feel that a decision needs to be considered further, thus reducing the potential risks for a child or young person and their family
